Treacle Tart




I used a pastry shell you could of course make your own.

225gms golden syrup
50g treacle
100ml thick cream
100gms butter
2 beaten eggs
150gms breadcrumbs
1 lemon zest and juice

Combine butter, syrup and treacle and heat.
Then stir through other ingredients

Bake at 160c for about 40 minutes
