This was the recipe my mother used to make our family apple pie, it brings back memories.
1 Tin Pie Apple
113 gms butter
1 egg
3 tbsp of water
226 gms Self raising Flour
57 gms sugar
Cream butter and sugar adding egg water and flour, mix into a paste
Layer pie dish place apple in the centre and top
Bake moderate oven till cooked
